In this module, you will learn about the various forms of sustainable cultural management at an economic, social and ecological level, and develop techniques for implementing these models within cultural organisations and projects.

- Concepts of Culture and sustainable development
- Possible roles of culture and the cultural sector in sustainable development

module was developed and designed in close cooperation with the
Goethe-Institut.
Course structure:
The module lasts 6 weeks and is divided into 3-4 phases. During each phase, you can decide when to prepare and review the content by working through the course material and tasks. There is usually one webinar in each phase, scheduled according to the students' time zones. These are the only fixed dates. Since the course is revised before it begins, the exact dates cannot be communicated beforehand. We calculate a weekly workload of 21 hours. Of course, this may vary depending on personal circumstances. The portfolio exam must be handed in at the end of the course.
